The Hunger Games trilogy are the most enjoyable books I've read in a long time and I'm sad I finished them last week (a huge shout out to my friend Jill for finally getting me to read them). The books are very harrowing and the characters are fantastic -- I think my classmates (who are also hooked) will agree with me that the character Peeta is the new Mr. Darcy, ha. The trilogy reminds me a lot of P.D. James' the Children of Men meets Big Brother (both the Orwell novel and trashy TV show). I highly recommend you check them out.
